Dress Class
Тия Станкова – дизайнер, стилист и консултант по бизнес имидж

A company's visual image begins long before its logo.

It begins with its people.

The way the team is dressed.

The photos a company presents itself with.

The presence of the people who represent it.

When all of these speak the same language, a business looks more professional, more recognisable and more convincing.

That is exactly what I work on today.

I help companies translate their brand, values and business goals into a visual image through uniforms, corporate photoshoots and business image.

But it all started with one garment.

I was 9 when I first saw a garment being born.

My mother took me to a tailor. We had no money for new fabric, so she brought my father's old trousers.

I remember them being unfolded, cut, and out of a few pieces of fabric came shorts — new, different, made especially for me.

I wore them for years.

But what stayed with me were not the shorts. It was the curiosity about how a garment can be imagined, constructed and reshaped to fit a specific person and a specific purpose.

Perhaps that is where everything began.

Later that curiosity became a profession.

I studied design, created clothing, worked with fabrics, cuts, proportions and colours. Early on I was recognised as “Young Designer of the Year”.

Then life took me somewhere that seems far from fashion — corporate business and finance.

And that is exactly where I began to understand clothing differently.

In business, appearance is never only a matter of fashion.

For years I was part of the corporate world and saw up close how people dress for meetings, negotiations, presentations, leading teams and facing clients.

I understood how strongly visual presence shapes the perception of professionalism, trust and the level of a business.

Gradually my two professional worlds — design and business — met.

Today Dress Class works exactly at that intersection.

From a single garment to a company's whole visual image

Over the years I have created bespoke clothing, developed designs, built thousands of looks, worked on photoshoots, television and media projects, and trained corporate teams. Today I use that experience in three main directions.

Uniforms and team clothing

I help companies find or create uniforms that match the brand, the working environment and the real people who will wear them — from concept and colours to models, fabrics, suppliers, fittings and repeat orders.

Because a good uniform shouldn't just look good in a photo. The employee has to want to wear it.

Corporate photoshoots

A company photoshoot can produce content for the website, PR, social media, employer branding, presentations and campaigns for a long time. That is why I work on the full visual concept — clothing, colours, combinations, accessories, poses, location and decor. When needed, I also help organise photographer, video, make-up and hair.

The goal isn't just nice photos, but a visual library that actually works for the business.

Business image

Sometimes the problem isn't the uniform or the photos separately — it's that there is no clear visual direction. How should the leadership team look? What does “business casual” mean for this specific company? How should people look in front of a client, on stage, on LinkedIn or on camera? How do you keep individuality without losing one brand feeling?

Here I work on visual standards and the presence of the people who represent the business.

I don't start with clothes. I start with the business.

I don't believe there is one “right” uniform, one correct corporate style or a universal formula for a professional image. Before proposing a solution, I want to understand:

  • 01What is the business?
  • 02Who are its clients?
  • 03How does it want to be perceived?
  • 04How do its people work?
  • 05What should it communicate visually?

Only then come the cuts, colours, fabrics, combinations and details.

Because the beautiful solution isn't always the right business solution. My job is to find both at once.
